As the wedding photographer I sometimes find it hard not to really feel ‘part’ of your big day. So, I can’t promise you won’t see me with a tear in my eye during the ceremony or that you won’t catch me chuckling away to the best man’s speech but I do promise to capture all of those moments for you to cherish forever.

Photography packages start at £950 upward however I can make more bespoke packages depending on your requirements.  Please contact me below so that I can email you with my package brochure.

All options include a pre-wedding consultation & venue recce with couple which can include a complimentary mini shoot with the couple, full editing of the photos in post production using Photoshop & Lightroom and ALL high resolution photos on a personalised USB ready to print.

I will also send you your photos on a link so that you can download and share with your family & friends.

Do you see the venue before the wedding day?

Always!! I usually go to see the venue with the couple, perhaps on a date that you have food tasting or similar. This is a great chance for us to get to know each other a little better and I always encourage a complimentary‘engagement shoot’ while we are there. I plan the best places to take your group and individual shots then also ensuring your day runs as smoothly as possible.  I have been photographing weddings for the past 10 years so feel that I can advise you on timings etc to optimise every minute on your big day!

I know your style is quite natural, but will you take formal/group photos?

Of course. I suggest keeping them to ten or fewer different combinations of groups. I will put them in order so that we can move through them quickly and efficiently. If you don’t have a toast master I always ask for your loudest, bossiest friend to help me get the groups together!

Do you have insurance?

Yes. I do things properly, so as well as my gear being insured I’ve got public liability and professional indemnity insurance.

What happens if you’re ill on our wedding day?

I like to think I am a fit & healthy person and have never had to cancel a job due to illness (touch wood!) However, if I really could not photograph your wedding I have a very good network of other wedding photographers who I would trust to take my place.

Will the photos be in colour or black and white?

I shoot the whole wedding day in colour and if I feel a photo works well in B&W too I’ll provide it like that. Sometimes I will provide the images in both if I feel it works.

Can you design us a wedding book?

Absolutely! Starting at £200 upwards. I have examples of these that I can show you.

I use Asuka high quality art books. There are six ranges to choose from in various sizes, all of the books can have the cover printed full bleed front to back and all of the pages have a laminate coating in a matt or glossy finish.

The most popular is the Zen lay-flat hard cover book. The invisible binding of this book allows you to fully view your photographs and when opened the book lays flat without the fold in the center. The Zen hard back is presented in a frosted case and the Zen EX includes a matching slip jacket and red or black slide-in book case with hot stamping text. The books come in 3 sizes 8×8, 10×10 or 12×12 with between 20 to 100 pages.

“Jo has a Creative, Natural and Honest style of photography”

Roni Wilmott

“We had a mini photo shoot with jo after she was recommended by my sister in law and I think it’s the first time my middle son has ever had a genuine smile in a photo taken by someone he doesn’t know.  Jo was warm and friendly and my kids took to her straight away and listened to everything she asked of them. Our pictures turned out even more amazing than I thought they would. I would highly recommend Jo to anyone wanting lovely pictures to treasure forever.”
